The microprocessor-controlled, digital FGV-HX force gage series offers the same user-friendly features of our popular FGV-X series, but in an extremely heavy-duty case, allowing the gauges to handle larger capacities from 0 to 500 pounds. Two “knurled” steel handles are provided for hand operation and a hanger is included which enables each gauge to be used as a scale. The FGV-HX series includes all FGE-HX features plus RS232C and analog outputs and an overload output signal.

Shimpo’s newest line of 500 Lb. motorized test stand FGV-250PV Series provide multiple user-friendly features, including fully programmable force, travel, distance, speed, cycling and dwell times. The stand can actually move a set distance from the point at which a force is detected! Due to its extended travel range, the stand can accomodate large samples and long travel requirements; the all steel construction provides reliability under harsh testing conditions. FGV-X / FGE-X DART Series Digital Force Gage by Shimpo

The 1000 series, with its fast 1000 Hz update rate, is able to capture the highest force peaks. With variable display update rate and the same superior accuracy as the DFS series, these new gauges feature unique 180 degree flip displays, permitting the user to read the display right-side up. Additional enhancements are; dual direction keypad, variable baud rate for SPC applications, selectable force direction indication, and selectable power on/off settings.

Designed to ergonomically fit in the palm of your hand, the rugged, all metal construction of the FGE-X and FGV-X permit accurate measurement and display of compression and tension forces up to 100 pounds. (Up to 500 lbs using the FGE-200HX and FGE-500HX.)

The FGV-X series gauges include RS-232c and analog outputs, as well as an overload output signal for gauge protection.

DFS Series Digital Force Gage by Shimpo

Microprocessor-controlled, the DFS series represents a unique approach to force testing. Designed to be handheld or stand mounted, the DFS features many advanced functions typically included on gauges costing twice as much. Intelligent and versatile, these high performance gauges are easily user configured for sampling and display update rate, units of measure, baud rate, data output stream, memory type and high and low set points. Large memory capacity (100 samples) and on board statistical processing allows the DFS series to operate with or without computer control. Additionally, each gauge possesses three types of signal outputs for data collection and function analysis.  Available in Standard Display and Inverted Display (for use with vertical test stands).

MF Series Mechanical Force Gage by Shimpo

Incredibly durable and user-friendly, our economical mechanical gauges are excellent for repetitive testing in assembly line or quality control lab applications. The peak mode features an easy push-button reset; this is especially helpful for doing repetitive testing in an assembly line or quality control lab. The real time mode allows you to see force changes as they occur.

Ergonomically designed for handheld use, both gauges may be used with the optional handle (great for loads over 15 pounds). Response time is immediate. Large, easy to read dial indicators are designed to reduce gauge parallax.

The MF gauges feature a die-cast aluminum housing. Mounts easily to all Shimpo test stands for even greater control of repetitive testing.

Shimpo Manual Test Stands

Shimpo's manual test stands offer the ability of obtaining accurate, consistent results without the high cost of a motorized system. The lever operated stands are ideal for rapid testing applications and the hand wheel stands are excellent for applications when more precise control is needed.

Nearly all manufacturers' gauges are compatible with Shimpo's test stands for incredible versatility. Because these stands are designed for precision, balance, and durability, they are perfectly suited for measuring a limitless range of materials.

Their all steel construction makes them remarkably rugged, while programming and cycling capabilities enable them to be highly intelligent. All stands have the ability to interface with our top quality force gauges, providing complete force measurement systems for the most precise testing applications.

Because speed, distance, and time are controlled by the user in either a vertical or horizontal model, our motorized stands can be configured for any application.

NEW - FGS-200PV E-Force Test Stand (200 lb capacity)

The E- Force test stand features bi-directional USB which speeds data communications with almost any PC or lap top computer. The E-Force firmware displays prompts and menus that guide the user through all programs, setups and final tests. Windows® like software permits users to perform standard tests, plus Pull or Push to break, Pull or Push to specified load and cycling. E-Force software provides force vs displacement or time to be displayed and the results collected in tabular and graphical format. This information can then be exported to Microsoft® Office products like Excel®.

The large and easy to read back lit digital display indicates all programmed set points, and indicates test, status of the program set up, force loads and overload alarm warnings. The E-Force provides selectable units of measure in force units. (Lbs., Oz, Kg, N and distance inches or mm)

The large sample area and 3.38” inch (86mm) throat depth provides for unique and large parts to be tested. Metric English threaded – adjustable base plate provided. A precise and consistent 0.06 to 400 mm/min (0.02 to 15.7 in/min) cross head speed provides for ultra slow creep tests and constant load testing.
