Details
A major change has been implemented within the current version of Hardness Standard ASTM E-10 which has eliminated the use of Steel Ball Indenters for ALL Hardness Testing. Tungsten Carbide Indenters are now mandatory to remain in compliance with ASTM specifications. ASTM E-18 is also being revised to replace Steel Ball Indenters with Tungsten Carbide Indenters.
