Adopt a Family - Hanover Township

Since 2014, Assurance Technologies has partnered with the Hanover Township office to run an Adopt-a-Family campaign. Each year the Hanover Township provides ATI with a list of families in need around the holidays. ATI typically will select 6-10 families and hang the children's Christmas wish lists' on the company Christmas tree. The children's age range from 4-15 and their lists consist of items from Barbies to Bikes/Skateboards or Sporting Equipment. ATI's employees are always willing to give back and support the less fortunate. They each select a child's name and head out to shop for the kids Christmas presents. In Mid-December we load up the ATI vans and deliver all the wrapped gifts to the Township office to distribute back to the families.

ADA - Step out for Diabetes

In 2013, Assurance Technologies began walking for the "Step Out" campaign for American Diabetes Association. Since, 2013 Assurance Technologies has been named a "Champion" donor every year.

JDRF Walk for Diabetes

Assurance Technologies has been a major contributer to the fight of Juvenile Diabetes (JDRF) for over 15 years. A close family friend was diagnosed as a 6 year old and ATI immediately joined the fight, walking with "Mallory's Marchers" at the Schaumburg Busse Woods event from 1997-2012. Over those 15 years, ATI's Vice President Maria Losacco has fundraised over $20,000.00 individually for the JDRF association. She was recognized across multiple years at the annual JDRF award ceremony hosted by the late Ron Santo. In 2013, Assurance Technologies followed Mallory's Marchers to the ADA and have continued walking annually for that cause.

Toys for Tornado Victims

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our campaign to provide toys for the children affected by the tornados in Central IL. On December 19, ATI employees loaded a van with over 300 toys and gift cards to pass out to the kids in Diamond, IL. It was a heartwarming experience to see the smiles on their faces as they walked in and saw all the gifts. We experienced a huge outpouring of support and we thank all of you for helping us provide families who suddenly lost everything a chance for their children to smile during the holidays. The United Way of Grundy County did a wonderful pre-screening families in the area, Karen Nall's support and knowledge of the affected area provided an organized and comforting holiday event.
