Coordinate Measurement Machines
Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) are used for measuring the geometry of manufactured components by sensing discrete points on the surface. While there are numerous sensors that can be added to a CMM interface, the main sensor is traditionally a kinemetric tactile probe. Many OEM’s utilize Renishaw probe systems as they are the world leader in that technology.
